The Small Print

One question a month, answered properly.

The Small Print is a free monthly session for managers, HR teams, and anyone who runs a service or works with the public. Each one takes a single everyday moment that turns out to be about disability and works through what to actually do. You don't need to know any law, and you don't need to think of yourself as working on disability.

Is this for you?

Probably, if any of these have happened where you work.

  • Someone mentioned a diagnosis or a health condition and you weren't sure what to say
  • Someone asked to change their hours, their desk, their start time or how they work
  • A customer asked you to do something differently and it wasn't in the process
  • A complaint about access came in and nobody was sure who owned it
  • Someone asked whether your website, building or service is accessible and the honest answer was "we think so"

How it runs

Each session is an hour on Google Meet. I talk for 45 minutes and take questions for 15. Live captions are on. You join muted with your camera off. Everyone who registers gets the recording, slides and transcript afterwards, whether or not you make it. It's free and there's no pitch at the end.

If you'd rather not ask a question out loud, send it when you register and I'll cover it without naming you or your organisation.

Access
